BILATERAL PROJECT ‘‘SHARED TREASURES‘‘

Students of the two participating countries will work together on creating an almanac and the activities will be presented on a common website.

The topics will be: a teenager dictionary, the UNESCO heritage, national customs and traditions,art(paper models, paintings),one day in a Lithuanian/Bulgarian family, educational system and curricula,the place we live in.

Every three months schools will produce articles on one or two topics of the almanac and afterwards exchange them with the partner. In each school there will be an information board where the published almanac pages will be presented. They will also be published on the common website. There’s also an exchange of an electronic version of all articles.

The students will acquire better knowledge of the most precious things of each nation: natural landmarks, national heritage, cultural customs and traditions,history,  geography and art. We put the emphasis on the most important virtues and moral values of the participating countries.

Coming together the students will provide common activities:working out a teenager dictionary (BG-Li-EN),  art workshops, UNESCO map, working out paper models of national sights, painting, preparing an exhibition, presentations and questionnaires on local aspects. The results of the international meetings will be documented and published in the almanac and on the common website.

Throughout the whole project the students will be encouraged to interact and communicate in the language of the partner country. There will also be an exchange of letters among the students in English, but they will be strongly persuaded to write in Lithuanian and Bulgarian.

At the end of the project the articles will contribute to an almanac and to the home page of each school.
